Terms of Service

By using PixCrunch (pixcrunch.net or the Windows desktop application), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The Service

PixCrunch provides image compression tools via a web browser app and a Windows desktop app. The web app processes images entirely in your browser. The desktop app processes images locally on your machine.

Free Tier

The free tier allows up to 20 image compressions per day at no charge. Free-tier outputs include a small watermark. Ads are displayed in the sidebar. The daily limit is enforced via browser storage and resets at midnight local time.

We reserve the right to change free-tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.

Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $4.99/month via Stripe. Pro provides unlimited compressions, no watermarks, no ads, and batch ZIP download. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Desktop App

The desktop app is sold as a one-time purchase via Gumroad. Your license key activates one installation. The license is non-transferable. Lifetime updates are included for the major version purchased. We reserve the right to define what constitutes a major version update.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use PixCrunch to process images you do not have the right to use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any licensing mechanism
• Use automated tools or scripts to exceed the free-tier limits artificially
• Resell or redistribute the service or desktop app

Intellectual Property

PixCrunch, its logo, and all associated branding are owned by PixCrunch. The compression tool and website code are proprietary. You retain full ownership of all images you compress using PixCrunch.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PixCrunch is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee of uptime, compression ratios, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixCrunch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or revenue.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
